From August 6th to 7th, the 2024 National Economic Situation Analysis Conference for the Petroleum and Chemical Industry was held in Xi'an. Relevant leaders from departments such as the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Commerce, and the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, as well as representatives from industry enterprises such as PetroChina, Sinopec, and CNOOC, key professional associations, and futures exchanges attended the conference. The keynote conference comprehensively analyzed China's macroeconomic situation, industrial economy, current status of foreign trade, and the economic operation of the petrochemical industry. At the same time, six seminars on the crude oil and refined oil market, soda ash and caustic soda market, pure benzene and styrene market, ethanol industry chain market, natural gas market, and high-performance polymer market for photovoltaic applications were organized.
