On April 1st, the 2025 China Bauxite & Alumina Market Seminar was held in Chongqing. More than 170 participants from units along the alumina industry chain attended the conference, including the Chongqing Municipal Economy and Information Technology Commission, China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association, Aluminum Corporation of China, Shandong Weiqiao, Chongqing Bosai, Hangzhou Jinjiang, Hebei Wenfeng, and others. Zhang Peichao, Vice President and Secretary-General of CCAIA, was invited to attend the conference and delivered a special report. The conference exchanged information on the operation of alumina and electrolytic aluminum, the application of intelligent technologies and financial tools in the industry, and progress in the comprehensive utilization of red mud, among other topics.
