From May 22 to 24, the Standardization Training and Draft Group Standards Workshop organized by CCAIA were held in Chengdu, Sichuan. A total of 90 trainees from key chlor-alkali production enterprises participated in the training and workshop. At the training session, Zhang Xin, Vice President of CCAIA, delivered an opening speech. Researcher Pang Zhenghu from the China National Institute of Standardization conducted a detailed interpretation of GB/T 1.1—2020 Directives for standardization—Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents and introduced and analyzed relevant experiences and typical cases in the standard drafting process. During the training, instructors also conducted systematic information exchanges and Q&A sessions with trainees.The draft group standards workshop was divided into three venues simultaneously, chaired by Zhang Shoute, Deputy Secretary-General of CCAIA, Fan Hongbo, Secretary-General of the Standardization Committee, and Feng Lei, Senior Engineer respectively. The leading units of 16 group standards introduced the contents of their respective draft standards. Participating enterprises discussed the draft contents, put forward targeted opinions and suggestions. After the workshop, the drafting team will revise and improve the standard text, and complete the draft for comments as soon as possible.
