On July 18, the 18th National Chloroacetic Acid Industry Chain Seminar was held in Xining, Qinghai Province. Nearly 60 representatives from over 30 chloroacetic acid production enterprises and related upstream and downstream industries attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Zheng Jiebin, Deputy Secretary-General of CCAIA, and Zhang Peichao, Vice President and Secretary-General of CCAIA, delivered a speech. CCAIA and relevant experts gave special reports on topics such as the development of the upstream acetic acid, chloroacetic acid, and downstream glycine-glyphosate industry chains, the application of near-infrared online detection in the chloroacetic acid industry, and technological and equipment innovation empowering the full-process automation of chlorination processes. Participants fully exchanged information on their respective enterprises' production and operation status, with a focus on discussions and exchanges regarding energy conservation and consumption reduction of chloroacetic acid products, expanding downstream application fields, exploring international market demand, and addressing internal competition.
