Training Course on Carbon Footprint Management and Green Low-Carbon Technologies in the Chlor-Alkali Industry was Held in Xining, Qinghai

From July 16 to 18, the training course on carbon footprint management and green low-carbon technologies in the chlor-alkali industry, organized by CCAIA, was held in Xining, Qinghai Province. Nearly 50 trainees from chlor-alkali production enterprises participated in the training. Li Qiong, Director of the Comprehensive Management Department of CCAIA, presided over the training course and systematically introduced the current economic operation, industrial policies, and the "15th Five-Year" development guidelines of the chlor-alkali industry. Experts from Beijing Power Trading Center, Chongqing International Investment Consulting Group, Xinjiang Shengxiong Energy, and Tangshan Sanyou Chlor-Alkali delivered training sessions on topics such as China's green power market policies and practices, policy progress on carbon footprints of petrochemical products and carbon-related trade rules for exports, green power applications in the chlor-alkali industry and coupled development with renewable energy power generation. They also focused on interpreting the standards ¡®Product Carbon Footprint - Product Category Rules for Caustic Soda¡¯ and ¡®Product Carbon Footprint - Product Category Rules for Polyvinyl Chloride¡¯. During the training, experts and trainees conducted in-depth exchanges and Q&A sessions.
