On July 17, the symposium on the economic operation of key industries in the petrochemical and chemical system was held in Beijing. Units including the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, CCAIA, China Soda Industry Association, China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association, China Phosphate & Compound Fertilizer Industry Association, China Crop Protection Industry Association, China Rubber Industry Association, China National Coatings Industry Association, China Association of Fluorine and Silicone Industry, China Synthetic Resin Association attended the meeting. Zhang Peichao, Vice President and Secretary-General of CCAIA, and Wang Li, Director of the Industry Research Department, attended the meeting. The symposium was presided over by Fu Xiangsheng, Vice President of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. Various associations introduced the economic operation of their respective industries in the first half of the year and put forward targeted policy recommendations. Secretary-General Zhang Peichao of CCAIA introduced the economic operation of the chlor-alkali industry in the first half of 2025, the current main characteristics of the industry, and proposed relevant policy recommendations on promoting high-quality development of the industry.
