From August 19 to 20, the 2025 China (Zhengzhou) International Futures Forum, co-hosted by Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE) and CME Group, was held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. Zhang Peichao, Vice President and Secretary-General of CCAIA, was invited to attend the forum. The forum consisted of a main forum and four parallel forums focusing on the themes of "Opening-Up", "Industrial Enterprise Risk Management", "Agricultural Products (Oilseeds & Oils)", and "Industrial Products (Polyester)". At the main forum, speeches were delivered respectively by Wang Ying, Deputy Director of the Futures Supervision Department of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC); Wu Jianwu, Deputy Director of the Financial Work Office of the Henan Provincial Party Committee; Zhuang Jianqiu, Mayor of Zhengzhou; and Xiong Jun, Chairman of Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange. Yu Bin, former Deputy Director of the Development Research Center of the State Council, delivered a report titled "Situation and Outlook of China's High-Quality Economic Development". Russell Beattie, Managing Director of CME Group Asia Pacific, presented a report themed "Transformation Trends and Prospects of the Global Derivatives Market". Yang Guang, President of the China Futures Association (CFA), gave a report entitled "Development of the Futures and Derivatives Industry and the Building of a Powerful Country". During the forum, representatives from domestic and foreign institutions conducted practical discussions and in-depth exchanges around topics such as "Paths and Prospects for the Opening-Up of the Futures Industry", "Key Points of Risk Prevention for Industrial Enterprises Participating in the Futures Market", "Enterprise Operation and Risk Management Against the Background of Global Trade Frictions", and "Development Trends of the Polyester Industry and Enterprise Risk Management".
