From October 15 to 17, the 14th Forum on Cooperation and Development of Chlor-Alkali Enterprises in Shandong, Jiangsu, Henan and Inner Mongolia (Four Provinces/Municipalities) and the China (Luohe) Fluorosilicone New Materials Forum was held in Luohe City, Henan Province. More than 200 representatives attended the forum, including chlor-alkali enterprises, fluorosilicone new materials enterprises and their upstream and downstream enterprises, chemical industrial parks, and relevant departments of the Luohe Municipal Government from the four provinces/municipalities. Zhang Peichao, Vice president and Secretary-General of the Association, was invited to attend the meeting and delivered a keynote speech.
Leaders of the Luohe Municipal Government and Wuyang County Government delivered opening remarks. Henan Jinshan Chemical Group introduced the project progress. Qing Fengling, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), analyzed the development history and latest research directions of organic fluorine materials. Industry experts from the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and Zhejiang Fluorine Chemistry Association shared the latest development trends of chemical new materials and other industries. Relevant enterprises exchanged experiences in innovation, management, safety and environmental protection, and application of artificial intelligence.
Secretary-General Zhang Peichao of the Association gave a special report on the economic operation of the chlor-alkali industry and the development trend during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period. Meeting representatives also visited the project construction site of Wuyang Base of Henan Jinshan Chemical Group in person.
