From June 10th to 11th, the launch meeting for the preparation of eight group standards organized by CCAIA, including the "Guidelines for the Investigation of Chlorine Safety Risks and Hidden Dangers in Chlor-alkali Enterprises", the "Accounting Standards for Carbon Emissions from PVC Resins in the Chlor-alkali Industry", and the "General Principles for the Preparation of Application Standards for Ion Membrane Caustic Soda Production Using Waste Salt as Raw Materials", was held in Chengdu, Sichuan. Leaders and responsible persons from 26 drafting units, including Qingdao Haiwan Chemical, Shaanxi Beiyuan, Tangshan Sanyou, Shanghai Chlor-alkali, and Ordos Chlor-alkali, attended the meeting.Zhang Xin, Vice President, Zhang Shoute, Vice Secretary General, and Wang Li, Director of the Research Department, respectively provided useful insights into thepreparation background and significance of the eight group standards, as well as the outline framework and work ideas of the standards. Participating enterprises conducted thorough discussions and exchanges around the standard outline, scope, preparation framework and content. The work arrangements ofstandard draft preparation were developed at the meeting.
