On June 29, 2023 China (Binzhou) New Energy and New Material Industry Development Conference was held at the Yellow River Delta Trading Center. Zhou Liwei, deputy governor of Shandong Province, relevant leaders of China Huaneng Group, China Datang Corporation, China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and the China Electricity Council, and Song Yongxiang, Secretary of Binzhou Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of Binzhou Municipal People's Congress, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches respectively. Also, among the participants were three academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Li Yadong, Chen Ju and Xu Chunming. Participating experts and scholars focused on in -depth exchanges and discussions on the "double carbon" strategy, new energy development path under the low -carbon economy, the integrated development of landscape hydrogen storage, innovation and development of chemical industry materials, innovation and development of semiconductor integrated circuit materials and comprehensive utilization of light hydrocarbons. The meeting invited those experts and academicians to make special reports in terms of waste plastic recycling, new energy storage tracks, future intelligent factories research and nanomaterials in the application of clean energy. It also held five parallel forums of "development path of new energy under the low -carbon economy", "integrated development of landscape hydrogen storage and transmission", "innovation and development of semiconductor integrated circuit materials", "innovation and development of chemical new materials" as well as "comprehensive use of light hydrocarbons". Zhang Peichao, Vice President and Secretary -General of CCAIA, attended the meeting and made a special report on the parallel forum.
