On July 13, CCAIA participated in the WCC Global Safety Team Teleconference. Chlor-alkali industry heads from North America, South America, Europe, Japan, and South Korea attended the meeting. Among the participants was Wang Lili, director of the International Cooperation Working Committee of CCAIA. As the meeting reviewed the WCC Safety Seminar held in Malaysia in June, those participants exchanged views on chlor-alkali safety accidents in various regions and agreed to strengthen the investigation of the root cause and related technical training. In addition, the Global Safety Team collected suggestions on the newsletter contents and the holding place of the 2024 WCC Safety Seminar.
