From August 3rd to 4th, Economic Trends Analysis Conference of 2023 National Petroleum and Chemical Industry was held in Zhengzhou. Relevant leaders from departments such as the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Commerce, CPCIF, and Zhengzhou City, as well as representatives from industry enterprises such as PetroChina, Sinopec, CNOOC, key professional associations, research institutions and futures exchanges attended the conference. As the keynote conference comprehensively analyzed the economic operation of the petrochemical industry, five forums were heldin such sectors as crude oil and finished oil market, polyester market, basic chemical products (methanol and alkali) market, aromatics and ethylene glycol market and negative electrode material market. Zhang Peichao, Vice President and Secretary General of CCAIA, attended the meeting where he gave a special report at the Basic Chemicals Forum.
