On November 17th, the 2023 exchange meeting for potassium hydroxide producers organized by CCAIA was held in Tianjin. Among the participants were presidents or general managers of eight key production enterprises, including Huarong Chemical, Ruida Taifeng, Sanfu Silicon Industry, Qinghai Salt Lake Potassium Fertilizer, Shandong Haineng, and Ulide Chemical. While the meeting was chaired by Tang Chong, General Manager of Huarong Chemical, the director unit Potassium Hydroxide Special Committee of CCAIA, Zhang Wenlei, President of CCAIA, provided an insight into the overall operation and key work of the industry. At the meeting, these representatives exchanged ideas on the production and operation status of their respective enterprises, the next development plan, the procurement of potassium chloride raw materials and the development trend of downstream markets, discussing how to conduct industrial policy research, increase publicity and guidance on overcapacity risk and develop the chlorine-consuming product chain layout, and finally reached consensus.
