From March 20th to 27th, Zhang Wenlei, the president of CCAIA, participated in an inspection delegation organized by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation inspect petrochemical companies in the United States and France and attend the World Petrochemical Conference. The delegation visited and inspected W.R. Grace & Co., LyondellBasell, and Sinopec USA Inc., participated in the 2024 World Petrochemical Conference, inspected Arkema, Air Liquide, and Solvay in France. They exchanged views on the development status and trends of the petrochemical industry in various countries, conducted in-depth discussions on key issues such as R&D innovation, green transformation, decarbonization, and digital development of each company, exchanged opinions on industrial policies, international conventions, and the development trends of new energy, and strengthened mutual understanding and cooperation.
